Call for precinct chairs
The Bell County Democratic party has vacancies for Precinct Chairs in many precincts. If you are interested or know someone who might be, browse the website http://democratsbellctytx.com and click on the Precinct News submenu. Follow the instructions in the Importance of Precinct Chairs item. The Precinct News page has a listing of current Precinct Chairs. If your precinct already has a Chair, contact them and let them know you would like to assist.

I live in Prec. 303 - I am relatively new to Temple (Jan '07). I found my precinct chair on the page listed, but his email address comes back as unreachable - I was able to confirm that the person listed is the correct chair, however. Let's work to make certain that Bell County Democrats can reach their precinct chairs. Organization is key and it needs to happen now.
This is a critical election. Democrats everywhere, ESPECIALLY in places like Bell County, need to be organized, we need to be informed, and most importantly we need to be engaged, both individually and as a united group.
For all who are precinct chairs, NOW is the time to make sure your contact information is up to date. NOW is the time reach out to your voters, not 2 weeks before the election. NOW is the time to help make sure that Democrats don't lose the most winnable presidential election in American history.
